Dear AU member
I’m delighted to welcome you to the very first edition of our new e-newsletter! We will be using this to send you up to the minute information about news, events and short break activities. We hope this will help you keep up-to-date and informed about the work we’re doing in Suffolk through Activities Unlimited and the Aiming High Programme.
Keep an eye on your email inbox for more e-news and updates coming soon!
Best wishes,

e-Government award winners
I’m very pleased that the first piece of news that I have to share with you in this way is that the Activities Unlimited website has won a national e government award! We were up against keen competition from 5 other finalists from around the UK in the category, Building a better society with e-Government services (improving social inclusion / improving lives and communities). The award recognises the innovative work we’re doing to build a fairer society and improve lives and is a fantastic achievement. Thanks to all of you who took part in the consultations we held when developing the website, your feedback and input was essential in making the AU website what it is and I hope you’re enjoying booking lots of exciting short break activities online.
Congratulations to everyone who worked on the project particularly our business partners Customer Service Direct who steered the project from drawing board to delivery success in a record-breaking 13 weeks! Read more
